CAHILL OUT TO PROVE THE PRICE WAS RIGHT

Posted 23rd September 2011

Online bookmaker 888Sport has a number of industry leading prices for this weekend's Premier League action.

Saturday sees Arsenal host Bolton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium with Gary Cahill turning out against the club who pursued him in the summer. The Gunners opted to sign German defender, Per Mertesacker, instead so Cahill will be out to prove Arsenal should have met his £17m price tag. Cahill and Bolton are 4/1 to keep a clean sheet in North London while Cahill is a special industry price of 28/1 with 888Sport to score at anytime and keep a clean sheet.

Arsenal are coming off the back of an embarrassing 4-3 defeat to Blackburn – their third loss of the season - and 888Sport is offering a special industry price of 4/9 that Arsenal finish outside of the top four this season.

Local rivals Tottenham Hotspur scored four on their last outing as they disposed of a nine-man Liverpool side in style at White Hart Lane. This weekend Tottenham take on Wigan at the DW Stadium. New signing Emmanuel Adebayor scored two goals against Liverpool, to take his total to three for the season, and Adebayor is 33/1 with 888Sport to finish as this season's top scorer. Spurs are 19/20 favourites to win in the North West, and are available at 4/1 to finish in the top four this season.

In the midday kick-off, Man City host Everton at Eastlands. The Toffees travel to Manchester amid rumours that French striker Louis Saha is on his way out of Goodison Park. Saha took to Twitter to vent his frustration at being left out against Wigan last weekend and 888Sport is offering a special price of 3/1 that Saha is banned from Twitter by David Moyes before the end of the season. On the field, Everton are 13/2 to win against City. While City are a best industry price 4/9 to get their fifth win of the season.

Owen Hargreaves marked his return to Premier League football with a debut goal for City on Wednesday night. It was Hargreaves' first real taste of top-flight football after a two-year lay-off. 888Sport have Hargreaves at a special price of 5/1 to start on Saturday against Everton, and at 8/1 to start for England's in their next match against Montenegro on October 7.
